Day 1 – At the arrival to the Luang Prabang international airport or Luang Prabang Railway Station you will meet with the local staff that will take you to the Home Base where comfortable simplicity meets nature. This is a harbor of peace in the heart of one of Luang Prabang large gardens managed with ecological and environmental respect.  There you will meet other travelers and get settled into your new home.
 

Day 2 - Cultural and Historical Exploration

*Morning: Visit the Royal Palace Museum: Start your day at the Royal Palace Museum to learn about the history of Laos and the former royal family. Wat Xieng Thong. Head to this iconic temple, known for its impressive architecture and intricate mosaics.

*Afternoon: Lunch at a Riverside Restaurant: Enjoy local Lao cuisine at a restaurant by the Mekong River. Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham: Visit this temple, famous for its gold-covered bas-relief and beautiful interior.Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre: Learn about the diverse ethnic groups of Laos through exhibits and interactive displays.

*Evening: Mount Phousi: Climb to the top of Mount Phousi for panoramic views of Luang Prabang and a beautiful sunset. Night Market: Explore the vibrant night market, where you can shop for local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Enjoy street food for dinner.

 

Day 3 - Nature and Spirituality.

*Morning: Tak Bat Ceremony wake up early to observe or participate in the traditional alms-giving ceremony, where monks receive offerings from locals and tourists.

*Breakfast at a Local Café: Enjoy a relaxing breakfast at one of Luang Prabang’s charming cafés.

Kuang Si Waterfall: Take a trip to Kuang Si Waterfall, one of the most stunning natural attractions in the area. You can swim in the turquoise pools, hike to the top of the falls, or visit the bear sanctuary nearby. *Afternoon: Having a picnic lunch at Kuang Si Waterfall or a nearby restaurant. Return to Luang Prabang on the way back, stop at the Butterfly Park to see beautiful butterflies and learn about their conservation.

*Evening: Dinner at a Traditional Lao Restaurant: Savor the traditional Lao meal at one of the recommended restaurants in town.*Bamboo Bridge* If visiting during the dry season, take a stroll across the seasonal bamboo bridge for a unique experience.​
