7-Day Tour: Luang Prabang, Nong Khiaw, Muang Ngoi, and Ban Nayangtai

Day 1 – At the arrival to the Luang Prabang international airport or Luang Prabang Railway Station you will meet with the local staff that will take you to the Home Base where comfortable simplicity meets nature. This is a harbor of peace in the heart of one of Luang Prabang large gardens managed with ecological and environmental respect. There you will meet other travelers and get settled into your new home.

*Evening* Mount Phousi*: Climb to the top of Mount Phousi for panoramic views of Luang Prabang and a beautiful sunset.

*Night Market*: Explore the vibrant night market, where you can shop for local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Enjoy street food for dinner.

Day 2- Morning: 8:00AM Breakfast at a Local Café.

20 minutes Orientation after breakfast. Basic Lao language expressions will be offered allowing you to connect with locals. You can learn more about important Lao cultural norms for getting ready to spend your time with respect for Lao people. Collect more details for the programs in the schedule for the next two weeks here in Luang Prabang and the area. In addition, an overview is provided for possible volunteering activities offering you the opportunity to leave a little mark in Laos while gaining a heart filling experience. In the afternoon, a walking city tour will be held to let you familiarize with this ancient city or world heritage.

Visit the Royal Palace Museum to learn about the history of Laos and the former royal family.

*Wat Xieng Thong: Head to this iconic temple, known for its impressive architecture and intricate mosaics.

*Lunch at a Riverside Restaurant* Enjoy local Lao cuisine at a restaurant by the Mekong River. *Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham*: Visit this temple, famous for its gold-covered bas-relief and beautiful interior.Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre*: Learn about the diverse ethnic groups of Laos through exhibits and interactive displays.

*Evening* Mount Phousi*: Climb to the top of Mount Phousi for panoramic views of Luang Prabang and a beautiful sunset.

*Night Market*: Explore the vibrant night market, where you can shop for local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Enjoy street food for dinner.

Day 3: Journey to Nong Khiaw

*Morning:Take a scenic drive or boat trip to Nong Khiaw. Check into your accommodation *Afternoon: Enjoy a meal at a local eatery.Walk around the town and visit the suspension bridge for stunning views of the Nam Ou River.

*Evening:* Hike to the Nong Khiaw viewpoint for a breathtaking sunset.

Dinner: Dine at a riverside restaurant.

Day 4: Cultural and Nature Exploration in Muang Ngoi

*Morning: Take a boat trip up the Nam Ou River to Muang Ngoi. Check into your accommodation.

Hiking and Village Tour*: Hike to the surrounding villages and learn about local farming techniques and daily life.

*Afternoon: Enjoy a meal at a local eatery- *Lunch in a Local Village. Have lunch with a local family, experiencing their hospitality and cuisine. *Explore Muang Ngoi*: Visit the Tham Kang Cave and nearby waterfalls.

*Evening: Traditional Lao dinner with a view of the river. Enjoy a cultural performance by the local villagers

Day 5: Travel to Ban Nayangtai

*Morning: Take a boat trip and then drive to Ban Nayangtai. Check into Ban Anoulak-Cultural Preservation Village.

*Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional meal prepared by the villagers.*Village Tour*: Learn about the history and culture of the Lue Tribe, including a visit to local weaving workshops.

*Evening: Enjoy a traditional Lue dinner.Watch a cultural performance featuring traditional music and dance.

Day 6: Ban Nayangtai to Luang Prabang - Wake up early for getting to see the impressive moment of the sunrise on the top of the mountain. The scenery of the ancient Village of Luang prabang from the surrounding Amazing Mountain view and rice field paddy and temple is waiting for you. Seeing the locals offer their alms, the giving, to the Buddhist monks. Joining that ritual could be one of the very memorable moments of your trip. Later, spend the time at one of the morning markets. Explore and see the rich selection of goods the morning market offers to the people. What kind of food do people have for their breakfast? *Workshop Participation*: Participate in a hands-on workshop on traditional weaving and dyeing techniques.

*Farewell Ceremony*: Attend a farewell ceremony with the villagers.

*Afternoon: Have lunch in the village before departing. Return to Luang Prabang. Check into your hotel in Luang Prabang.

*Dinner at a Fusion Restaurant*: Enjoy a meal that blends traditional Lao flavors with modern culinary techniques.

Day 7: Departure. This 7-day itinerary offers a mix of cultural immersion, natural beauty, and historical exploration, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience in Luang Prabang, Nong Khiaw, Muang Ngoi, and Ban Nayangtai.
